Space to Create
Do you have bold ideas that you want to bring to life onstage? Space to Create is a free programme for young theatre makers aged 14-21 to work collaboratively with some of the UK’s most exciting theatre artists.
Create new performances and push boundaries through devising and experimentation.
How it works
What happens
Space to Create is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with artists and facilitators in response to a National Theatre production.
You’ll spend the week exploring, creating, and making a performance piece to share at the end of the week – no prior theatre experience is necessary, just a sense of curiosity and creativity!
Recruitment
We are furthering our commitment to diversity and access by concentrating recruitment in three areas that we recognise have been most affected by the events of the last few years:
- young people from the global majority;
- young people from working-class backgrounds;
- and d/Deaf, neurodivergent and disabled young people.
This project is free to take part in and access support and travel bursaries are available.
